Two new Fujifilm lenses are coming! According to the latest rumors from Fujirumors, Fujifilm is currently working on the development of Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 MarK II along with Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 MarK II lens.
This is quite surprising, as Fujifilm has just released Fujifilm XF 50mm F1.0 WR (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) last year. In my opinion, the model change of the XF56mm F1.2 is not an urgent issue, but there are some points that need to be improved, such as AF and dustproof and splashproof. But now, if you want to buy a portrait lens, you’d buy Fujifilm XF 50mm F1.0.
The current Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 lens (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) was released in 2013, and Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 lens (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) was released in 2014. We are wondering if the new model will be a full model change with a completely redesigned optical system or a minor change with improved AF and being sealed.
