It is a pity that the new Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 MarK II Lens will not be officially announced at once. According to the latest rumors from Fujirumors, this new lens will NOT be announced on May 31, 2022. But they confirm it’s still coming this year.

We already know that the big X Summit will be held on May 31st, 2022. And below is a list of products that are rumored to be announced.

  • Fujifilm X-H2S
  • Fujifilm X-H2
  • Fujifilm XF18-120mm (rumored through F4)
  • Fujifilm XF150-600mm (rumored F5.6-8)
  • Fujifilm GF20-35mm (F4 through according to mockup)

To be clear, Fujifilm XF 56mmF1.2 MarK II lens will not be announced as such. I don’t know if there is a mockup exhibition.

Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 MarK II lens was first rumored in April 2021, but at that time it was stated that it would appear in 2022, so even if it does not appear at the X Summit, it will be rumored to appear in 2022. That’s right. For the new model, I am wondering whether the optical system will be renewed or it will be a minor change.
