It’s nearly identical to its predecessor, with the exact same optical design and overall feature set, but does offer improved weather resistance with an IP53 rating, which should pair well with the new OM Systems OM-1 Micro Four Thirds camera system. Autofocus (AF) is driven via OM Systems’ Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) AF system, which OM Systems claims ‘benefits both photo and video applications due to its smooth, quiet, and fast performance.
