According Fujirumors, after the announcement of Tamron 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lens (Fujifilm XF), Tamron’s manager promised in an interview there are three more X-mount lenses coming!
- a standard zoom
- a wide-angle zoom
- a telephoto zoom
Since this interview, Tamron has released a standard zoom (17-70mm F/2.8). Therefore, two lenses, a wide-angle zoom (most likely 11-20mm F2.8) and an unspecified telephoto zoom, have not yet appear.
Well, according to the information I got, one of the two lenses is coming soon and Tamron plans to release a telephoto zoom for the X mount sometime in 2022.
Tamron’s mirrorless telephoto zoom currently does not have an APS-C dedicated lens, so will the new telephoto zoom be an X-mount version of the existing full-frame lens?
