Matthew Richards has just posted a full review of the newly released Nikon NIKKOR Z 17-28mm F2.8 lens (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama)  at the DCW.

He tested this new lens on Nikon Z6 II and Nikon Z7 II and found such pros: excellent image quality, Compact and light for an f/2.8 zoom and Short minimum focus distance.

Here is the verdict, “this wide-angle counterpart is comparatively compact, lightweight and affordable, yet delivers excellent image quality and all-round performance.”
