A new Canon EF 50mm lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from CR1, Canon is working on a new 50mm prime macro lens and will officially announce it in late 2017 to replace the current EF 50mm F1.4 USM lens.
This new lens will not have IS, use the Micro USM motor and still have an aperture of F1.4.
Reminder: The 23 year old Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 is now for only $349 (List Price $399) at B&H/ Amazon.
