What is the best all-around travel lens for a Canon EOS R6?

I am losing my mind trying to pick a single lens for my Japan trip next month and I have spent way too many hours on YouTube and forums just getting more confused. I finally upgraded to the R6 last year but I have mostly been using my old adapted EF glass which is way too bulky for walking 10 miles a day in Tokyo and Kyoto. I looked into the RF 24-105mm f4 L because everyone says it is the gold standard but honestly it is kind of heavy and more than I want to spend right now after paying for flights. Then I saw the non-L version, the 24-105 STM, which is way cheaper and lighter but everyone online keeps complaining about the variable aperture being too slow at the long end and that it is basically unusable in low light like at night markets or inside shrines. I also saw the 24-240mm superzoom which sounds great for not having to swap lenses ever but then some reviews say it is super soft in the corners and the distortion is crazy. I just want something that wont break my back or my bank account but still looks sharp enough to print a couple shots for my wall later. My budget is max $900 maybe a bit more if I go used but I would prefer to stay under that. What is the actual best all-around travel lens for the R6 that balances weight and quality?

Honestly, I have dragged gear all over Japan and weight really is the enemy. In my experience, you should just grab a used Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM. It easily fits your $900 budget used and the weather sealing is a lifesaver when it rains in Kyoto. TL;DR: Buy the L series used. The R6 sensor deserves good glass, and its the best balance of quality for those big wall prints.
