What is the best everyday lens for a Canon R6?

I need to pick something fast because my flight to Rome is literally in four days and I'm still staring at my empty lens mount. My logic was that the RF 24-105mm f/4L is the obvious choice for a general walkaround lens but then I saw a bunch of reviews saying the 24-70mm f/2.8 is way better for low light.

So I was thinking maybe the extra stop is worth the extra weight and cost? Budget is around $2k but honestly I just want one lens that stays on the R6 the whole time. If I go with the f/4 am I gonna regret it when the sun goes down? Or is the 24-70 too heavy to carry around all day? I'm totally stuck...

Unfortunately I had issues with the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM being too slow indoors. I suggest the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM instead, its better for churches.
