Been shooting for years but this 90D crop factor is driving me crazy. My 50mm is too wide for tight headshots but the 85mm f1.8 makes me stand in the street. I have $600 and a gig next Friday. Is there a middle ground prime I'm missing or do I just deal with the 85?

Unfortunately, there isnt a magic middle ground lens that doesnt feel like a compromise. I had issues with the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM because f2.8 just doesnt give that creamy blur you get from f1.8 glass tho.
- Its okay for tight shots but kinda underwhelming
- Stick with the 85mm and just back up whenever possible...
- Save your 600 bucks for a full frame upgrade later
