So I have a trip to Japan next month and desperately need a decent camera that isnt my phone. My budget is strictly under 500 bucks. I want a mirrorless bundle because they are smaller for travel.
Right now Im torn between two options:
- A used Sony a6000 kit with two lenses on eBay for about 420
- A new Panasonic Lumix G7 bundle on Amazon for 499
Leaning towards the Sony because its cheaper and smaller but the G7 does 4k video which seems cool for vlogging the trip. Which of these is better for a complete beginner? Or is there something else I should look at?

You can grab the a6000 body and a fast prime like the Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E on there and stay under your 500 dollar limit. You're gonna need that extra cash for sushi and bullet trains anyway.
