Is the Nikon Z6 II currently on sale at major retailers?

My D750 is finally giving up on me right before a huge wedding shoot I have next weekend in Chicago and im honestly so stressed out. The shutter keeps sticking and I just cant trust it anymore after it missed a bunch of shots yesterday. Ive been eyeing the Z6 II as an upgrade but my budget is super tight right now since im just starting out and I really need to stay under 1600 if possible. I checked B&H and Adorama this morning but the prices seem all over the place or just full retail everywhere I look. Is the Nikon Z6 II currently on sale at major retailers or am I just looking in the wrong spots?

It usually goes for around 1000 to 1300 which leaves you plenty of room for extra batteries or cards. It has the dual slots you need for weddings, which is the big deal-breaker for most pros. The sensor isnt BSI like the Z6 II so low light is slightly noisier, but honestly, with modern noise reduction it is barely an issue for wedding work. If you are dead set on the Z6 II tho, check the used market at places like MPB. You can often find a Nikon Z6 II Body with low shutter counts for about 1450. Its a much safer bet than eBay since they actually verify the gear. Just make sure you account for the cost of CFexpress cards since those things are pricey compared to the SD cards your D750 used. Another practical move is just renting the gear for the Chicago trip. You can get a Nikon Z6 II Mirrorless Body for a few days for basically nothing compared to the full purchase price.
