Honestly im so fed up with these prices lately. Ive been trying to pull the trigger on a Z6II for months now but every time I save up enough the price seems to jump or the bundles change and I end up short. I have a wedding gig coming up in mid-July in Chicago and I really need to upgrade from my old D750 before then because the autofocus is just killing me during low light receptions.
I missed that big spring sale by like two days because my car needed a new alternator and now I feel like I'm just staring at full MSRP on every single site like B&H or Adorama. It feels like Nikon is just allergic to giving us a break right now. My budget is capped at $2400 for the body and maybe a kit lens if I can swing it but everything is pushing way past that once you add taxes and a decent memory card. I've been scouring the web and checking those sketchy coupon sites but they are all just fake activate deal links that do absolutely nothing.
Does anyone actually have a legit promo code or know if there is a hidden EDU discount or something that is active right now for the Z series?
ngl Nikon doesnt really do promo codes, it is usually just instant savings. In my experience, check these instead:
- Refurbished Nikon Z 6II Body: Pros are it feels brand new with a factory warranty, but stock is hit or miss.
- Used Nikon Z 6II Body from MPB: Pros are massive savings and actual gear photos, tho shutter counts vary. Both beat paying full MSRP for that wedding gig.
