My A6000 literally just bricked itself and I have my sisters wedding in three weeks so I am kinda panicking right now. I have about $1200 saved up and really want to move up to an A7iii but man the prices are all over the place. I looked at MPB and KEH like everyone suggests but honestly their prices for anything decent arent even that much cheaper than buying new from a big store during a sale. Then I see these crazy low prices on eBay or Fred Miranda but I'm so worried about getting a sensor with dead pixels or just getting ripped off entirely. Is there a secret spot for better discounts that isnt a total gamble or am I just looking at the wrong time...
honestly fred miranda is the gold standard in my experience for used gear. its way safer than ebay if you know the tricks. your budget is perfect for a used Sony Alpha a7 III Mirrorless Digital Camera Body.
- only buy from sellers with high feedback
- always use paypal goods and services
- ask for raw files to check for sensor spots most pros there take way better care of gear than a retail house would... it isnt a gamble if you stick to the rules.
