What budget zoom lens is actually the best fit for the Fujifilm X-S10 if I am trying to stay under $400? I just picked up the body used and I am so stoked to finally have a Fuji camera, the film sims are literally everything I wanted lol. I am planning a big trip to Kyoto in about three weeks so I need to grab something fast but I am torn.

I read a ton of reviews saying the XC 15-45mm is surprisingly sharp for the price but then I see people complaining that the power zoom is super clunky and slow to use which sounds like it would drive me crazy. Then there is the XF 18-55mm which is basically a legend but even used ones are pushing my budget lately and I am not sure if the extra weight is worth it.

I also saw the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 mentioned a lot as a must have but since it doesnt have stabilization I wasnt sure if that would be a problem? I know the X-S10 has IBIS so maybe it doesnt even matter? I just want something versatile for street shots and maybe some food photos while I am traveling. Is the 18-55mm really that much better than the cheap XC version or should I save my money for snacks in Japan?
