So Ive been shooting with my a7iii for like 4 years now and I usually just stick to my 35mm and 85mm primes because I love the sharpness you know. But Im heading to Japan next month and I realized I really dont want to be swapping lenses in the rain or while Im hiking around.

My logic was to grab a versatile zoom but man those G-Master prices are just insane right now. I was looking at the Tamron 28-75 G2 vs maybe some of the older Sigma glass but Im worried about the autofocus speed for fast street stuff. Budget is strictly under 800 bucks. Whats the best bang for buck right now that doesnt feel like a toy?
