John Riley has just posted a full review of the newly released  Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm F2.8 S lens ( AmazonB&HAdorama) at the ePhotozine.com. He tested this new lens on Nikon Z 7 and found such  Pros: Outstanding sharpness, Virtually zero CA, Excellent flare resistance, Dust and moisture resistance, Excellent handling, Quality manufacture, Custom functions and OLED display.

Verdict from ePhotozine, “The quality of the images is gorgeous and the technical measurements bear this out as well. OK, the price is high, and a margin above the competition as well, but on the other hand what price quality? For each of us, this point will be different, but the cost is not totally out of the ball park and the qualities of the lens are very, very tempting…Admittedly buying a Nikon Z7 to go with this is not exactly a low price option, but if that is where the photographer places the cash, then the Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens will definitely not disappoint…
