Along with Sigma 24mm F3.5 DG DN Contemporary Lens and Sigma 35mm F2 DG DN Contemporary lens, Sigma also announced the new Sigma 65mm F2 DG DN Contemporary lens. It is a compact short-telephoto prime for E- and L-mount bodies, featuring12 elements in 9 groups, including SLD and aspherical glass and a stepping motor. The minimum focus distance is 55cm (21.7″) and the maximum magnification is 0.15x. The lens has a manual aperture ring and is sealed against dust and moisture. This new lens costs $699, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
