Nikon has just filed a new patent for Nikkor 7.4-600mm f/2.8-6.3 lens designed for cameras with 1″ sensor (20-1620mm f/2.8-6.3 equivalent). This is a 75x zoom lens similar to the Coolpix P900 (83x 24-2000mm).
