Along with the Canon EOS R100 (B&H/ Adorama) , Canon also announced the new Canon RF 28mm F2.8 STM lens. It is a wide-angle for full-frame cameras or as 45mm equivalent normal lens on APS-C bodies, delivering up to 0.17x magnification at a minimum focusing distance of 0.23m (9 inches). With a maximum outer diameter of 69mm and 25mm long, the lens is rather modest in profile.
This new lens costs $299, first available for pre-Order at (B&H/ Adorama).
