Canon RF 800mm F11 IS STM Lens Announced, Priced $899.99, Available for Pre-Order

Canon has just officially announced the new Canon RF 800mm F11 IS STM lens. It is a fixed-aperture super-telephoto lens for Canon’s full-frame mirrorless system. Its use of gapless dual-layer diffractive optics allow make it far more compact and lightweight than its EF equivalent. The lens collapses while not in use. The stabilizer reduces shake by up to 4 stops. This new lens costs $899.99, first available for pre-order at  Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama It will start shipping from July 30, 2020 along with Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6.
