I am trying to get into photography for my sisters wedding in Chicago in two months but honestly I am so stressed out. I keep looking for the Fujifilm X-T5 because everyone says its the best one but every site has different prices and half the time it doesnt even come with a lens? I only have about $1800 to spend on everything and i feel like im just hitting a wall because i dont even know what a good deal looks like or if these bundles are even real or just scams. I literally have no idea where to start looking for something cheap that actually includes what i need to start shooting. Does anyone know where to find cheap body bundles for this camera?
Unfortunately, Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Body bundles are not as good as expected for $1800.
- Fujifilm X-S20 with 18-55mm Lens is better value.
- Fujifilm X-T30 II Kit saves cash. Try those instead!
In my experience, those kits are filler. Buying a Fujifilm X-H2 Mirrorless Body used with a Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS is a more professional technical route for weddings, honestly.
Bookmarked, thanks!
To add to the point above: those bundles on random sites are usually just scams to offload cheap accessories like flimsy tripods and bad SD cards that will fail on you. You're paying for trash. Your best move for a wedding is getting a used Fujifilm X-T5 Mirrorless Digital Camera Body and then something like the Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR which is super sharp and fits the budget. It gives you that pro look without the bulk. Chicago is gonna be fun tho, I hope you have time to check out the art institute while you're there. I spent a whole day lost in the miniature rooms last time I visited and totally forgot I had a flight to catch. Almost missed it because I was staring at tiny furniture... anyway. But yeah, stay away from the mega-bundles and just buy the body and a lens separately.
