Im leaving for a landscape gig in the Dolomites next Tuesday and I am freaking out a bit because my current wide setup just isnt cutting it for the SL2 sensor. I need the absolute sharpest wide angle possible. I've been looking at the 16-35mm Vario-Elmar-SL but then I read some threads saying the 21mm Super-Elmar-M is technically better if you dont mind using the adapter. But then some other guys say the edges get smeary on the SL2 specifically because of the thick sensor glass compared to the M11. I have about 5 grand to spend and need to order by Friday so it gets to me before my flight. What is actually the sharpest option for corner-to-corner detail?
