According to the latest rumors from PentaxRumors, there are two new pentax lensex coming. They are Pentax D FA 70-300mmF4.5-5.6 ED PLM WR SR lens and Pentax DA ★ 50-135mmF2.8 ED PLM AW Lens.
HD PENTAX-D FA 70-300mmF4.5-5.6 ED PLM WR SR: This lens is described as a “telephoto zoom lens” on the latest PENTAX lens roadmap, and this lens is the body and lens hand. It will correspond to the coordinated correction of blur correction.
Development of the D FA 70-300mmF4.5-5.6 ED PLM WR SR started long ago, but the development of coordinated operation of in-lens image stabilization and in-body image stabilization was delayed due to difficulties.
HD PENTAX-DA ★ 50-135mmF2.8 ED PLM AW: This lens will replace the old current SMC PENTAX-DA ★ 50-135mmF2.8 ED AF [IF] SDM, which is 15 years old.
Ricoh’s lens roadmap only lists one telephoto zoom, but it seems both the lenses may have been developed. Pentax 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 uses SR (in-lens image stabilization), which is the first PENTAX to achieve coordinated correction with the body, so it’s noteworthy.
