Two new Sigma lenses are coming! According to the latest rumors from SAR, Sigma will launch two new FE primes sometimes in Q2 (April-June). They are:
- Sigma 50mm f1.2 DG DN Art (Almost same size as the current 35mm f1.2 DG DN Art)
- Sigma 50mm f2 DG DN Contemporary (Almost same size as the current 35mm f2 DG DN Art)
Sigma’s next new product will be a standard single focus lens. Since 50mm is about the same size as sigma 35mm F1.2 with a total length of 138.2mm, it seems to be a much larger than the FE 50mm F1.2 GM (total length 108mm).
The other 50mm F2 is an L series lens, and you can expect a high quality lens. The size is about the same as the 35mm F2 with a total length of 67.4mm, so it seems that it will be a lens with a margin that is not too small for a 50mm F2.
