sorry if this is a dumb question but what online store has the best discounts for refurbished ones?
> sorry if this is a dumb question but what online store has the best discounts for refurbished ones? In my experience, the manufacturer direct stores are the only way to go for refurbished gear. Over the years I have bought plenty of stuff from Canon Direct and Nikon Refurbished. You get a factory warranty which is way better than some random shop. If they dont have stock, KEH is the best third-party option because they actually test everything properly. For hiking with 400 bucks, try to find a Canon EOS Rebel T7 with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens. It is light enough that it wont kill your back on the trail. One quick tip: always check the battery health when it arrives. Refurbished bodies are usually great but sometimes the batteries they include have seen better days. Grab a Nikon D3500 with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Lens if you prefer the Nikon ergonomics tho.
