Canon’s ‘Super Spectra Coating’ reduces flare and ghosting. The camera’s focusing group is moved by two Nano USM motors. A spherical aberration control dial allows users to adjust the appearance of bokeh and the overall softness of the image. As with all L-series lenses, the 100mm is sealed against dust and moisture, and features a fluorine coat on the front element to repel oil and water.
